Unto thee, O LORD, do I lift up my soul.  O my God, I trust in thee: let me not be ashamed, let not mine enemies triumph over me.  Yea, let none that wait on thee be ashamed: let them be ashamed which transgress without cause.

Shew me thy ways, O LORD; teach me thy paths.  Lead me in thy truth, and teach me:

for thou art the God of my salvation; on thee do I wait all the day.

Psalm 25:1-5

Before David asks God to change his circumstances, he asks God to teach him His ways. Psalm 25 reminds us that Encountering The Holy is not merely seeking God's hand for blessings but seeking God's heart for direction, because the greatest gift God gives is often His guidance. What is High and Lifted Up is a life that chooses trust over panic, surrender over self-reliance, and divine wisdom over human impulse. For a people whose journey has required courage, perseverance, and faith through uncertain seasons, this passage reminds us that God's truth has always been a reliable compass leading us toward hope, dignity, and purpose. Dream Big, because when God directs your path, He will often take you beyond destinations you would have chosen for yourself into possibilities you never imagined. Decide To Become someone who begins each day by asking, "Lord, show me Your way," believing that every holy encounter has the power to reshape your perspective before it changes your situation. Demonstrate Your Power by walking patiently, trusting consistently, and leading courageously, because those who allow God to guide their steps will always find themselves living High and Lifted Up.
