That ye put off concerning the former conversation the old man, which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts; And be renewed in the spirit of your mind; And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness.

Ephesians 4:22-24

Some seasons don’t call for more effort—they call for a new mindset. Ephesians 4:22–24 (KJV) invites us to put off what no longer fits and be renewed from the inside out. Focus is choosing who you are becoming, not just managing who you’ve been. To live High And Lifted Up is to refuse old patterns that keep you grounded in cycles God already broke. For Black people and our communities, this is sacred permission to evolve without guilt and grow without explanation. When the mind is renewed, the hands move differently, building futures instead of repeating history. This word reaches every generation with the same charge: stay Focused, stay lifted, and walk boldly in the new life God has already prepared.
