Behold, I send you forth as sheep in the midst of wolves: be ye therefore wise as serpents, and harmless as doves.

Matthew 10:16

Because we have been sent by God, we must understand that we have to guard ourselves, everything about us, to ensure we are not knocked out of the game or detoured in the wrong direction.  Therefore, it is critical to our ability to guard ourselves that we willingly investigate, test what we believe are opportunities and possibilities to see if they are of God; they are right for the pathway that God has destined for us.  The Dis-covering Process that includes investigation may not always yield what we think or believe should be, however, the investigative nature of the process equips us regardless, giving us wisdom, insight, understanding that will assist us in navigating our pathway.  Possessed with wisdom birthed out of our experiences allows us to watch and pray, guard, as well as seek to discover and recover our Hidden Manna without being knocked out of the game of detoured in the wrong direction.  Remember, you are among wolves seeking to possess God’s promises for your life; thus, be steady and diligently pursue the pathway God has ordained by being wise as a serpent and harmless as a dove.
