Fret not thyself because of evildoers,
neither be thou envious against the workers of iniquity.
For they shall soon be cut down like the grass,
and wither as the green herb.
Trust in the LORD, and do good;
so shalt thou dwell in the land, and verily thou shalt be fed.
Delight thyself also in the LORD;
and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart.
Commit thy way unto the LORD;
trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass.
And he shall bring forth thy righteousness as the light,
and thy judgment as the noonday.
Rest in the LORD, and wait patiently for him:
Psalm 37:1-7a
David opens this psalm by telling us to stop stressing over folks who seem to be winning while doing wrong. The Hidden Manna here is that comparison will drain you, but trust will ground you. I Got It means realizing that your stability comes from God’s faithfulness, not other people’s behavior. When you delight yourself in the Lord, He shapes your desires so that what you want aligns with what He’s already planned. Committing your way to Him isn’t passive—it’s powerful, because it frees you from the need to force outcomes. And when you “rest in the Lord,” you’re not being lazy—you’re being intentional, choosing peace over panic. Today, breathe deep, stay steady, and wait with confidence—because the God who sees you is already working things out, and you can walk forward knowing, “I Got It… because He’s got me.”
