These words spake Jesus, and lifted up his eyes to heaven, and said, Father, the hour is come; glorify thy Son, that thy Son also may glorify thee:
John 17:1
When Jesus lifted His eyes toward heaven and said, “Father, the hour is come; glorify thy Son, that thy Son also may glorify thee,” He showed us what it means to see with purpose. His gaze was not fixed on what was before Him—the hardship, the cross—but on the glory that would come through obedience. When we pray, “Lord, I Want To See,” we are asking for that same vision: eyes lifted above the moment to recognize how God’s glory can still shine through us. In that upward glance lies Hidden Manna—strength to endure, peace to surrender, and faith to trust that even difficult seasons can reveal divine purpose. Today, take a moment to lift your own eyes, away from the distractions and demands that pull you downward. Ask God to help you see where His glory is unfolding in your work, your relationships, and your quiet acts of faith. As you do, may your perspective rise, and your spirit find nourishment in the light of His presence.
