But when Jesus perceived their thoughts, he answering said unto them, What reason ye in your hearts? Whether is easier, to say, Thy sins be forgiven thee; or to say, Rise up and walk? But that ye may know that the Son of man hath power upon earth to forgive sins, (he said unto the sick of the palsy,) I say unto thee, Arise, and take up thy couch, and go into thine house. And immediately he rose up before them, and took up that whereon he lay, and departed to his own house, glorifying God. And they were all amazed, and they glorified God, and were filled with fear, saying, We have seen strange things to day.

Luke 5:22-26

When Jesus perceived the thoughts of the scribes and Pharisees, He revealed that seeing goes deeper than what meets the eye. Those gathered around Him watched as a man once paralyzed stood and walked, but the greater miracle was the forgiveness that first healed his heart. When we pray, “Lord, I Want To See,” we are asking for vision that recognizes the unseen work of grace before the visible results appear. In that awareness lies Hidden Manna—the quiet assurance that God is moving within us, restoring what’s broken long before others notice the change. Today, look for evidence of that inner healing in yourself and in others: renewed courage, peace after struggle, or joy returning where it had faded. True sight celebrates both the seen and the unseen, trusting that every act of faith opens the door for God’s transforming power. Let your gratitude today be the testimony that, like the healed man, you, too, have seen His glory and are walking in new strength.
