But it is the spirit in a person, the breath of the Almighty, that gives them understanding.
Job 32:8 (NIV)
Job 32:8 (NIV) reminds us that “it is the spirit in a person, the breath of the Almighty, that gives them understanding.”When we pray, “Lord, I Want To See,” we’re asking the Spirit to breathe clarity into our thoughts and illuminate what our natural wisdom misses. That breath becomes Hidden Manna—quiet insight, holy nudges, and settled peace that nourish the soul in confusing moments. Practice this today: pause for a few unhurried breaths, whisper the prayer to see as God sees, and invite His Word to sift your motives and guide your choices. When tensions rise or decisions feel tangled, return to that breath and listen for the gentle wisdom that does not shout but steadies. The Almighty’s breath does more than inform—it transforms, giving patient discernment and courage to act in love. Ask Him to breathe on you afresh, and expect Him to feed you with understanding that opens your eyes and orders your steps.
