And when Joseph came home, they brought him the present which was in their hand into the house, and bowed themselves to him to the earth. And he asked them of their welfare, and said, Is your father well, the old man of whom ye spake? Is he yet alive? And they answered, Thy servant our father is in good health, he is yet alive. And they bowed down their heads, and made obeisance.
Genesis 43:26-28
This scene captures a moment of divine fulfillment wrapped in humility and hidden emotion. Joseph’s brothers bow before him, unaware that the one they once rejected now stands as their deliverer. When we pray, “Lord, I Want To See,” we are asking for the ability to perceive God’s restoration at work, even when it comes through unexpected people and places. Within this reunion lies Hidden Manna—the nourishment of grace that allows us to see reconciliation instead of revenge, purpose instead of pain. Joseph’s vision was not clouded by bitterness but illuminated by understanding—he saw God’s hand in what others could not yet comprehend. To see as the Lord sees is to recognize that forgiveness often reveals the deepest layers of His plan. Today, ask God to open your eyes to the beauty of reconciliation and to feed you with the hidden strength that comes from seeing His redemption in every relationship and circumstance.
