I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the LORD.
The LORD hath chastened me sore: but he hath not given me over unto death.
Open to me the gates of righteousness: I will go into them, and I will praise the LORD:
This gate of the LORD, into which the righteous shall enter.
I will praise thee: for thou hast heard me, and art become my salvation.
The stone which the builders refused is become the head stone of the corner.
This is the LORD's doing; it is marvellous in our eyes.
This is the day which the LORD hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.
Psalm 118:17-24
This psalm is a declaration of victory and purpose in the midst of trial. The psalmist acknowledges hardship but also recognizes that God’s hand has preserved life for a greater assignment: to declare His works. Intentionality is found in choosing to rejoice and give God glory, even when the path has been difficult. Within these words lies Hidden Manna—strength to endure, gratitude to overcome despair, and joy that sustains the heart. What others reject, God exalts, reminding us that His plans are marvelous beyond human expectation. Each day is not just another chance at survival, but a gift of purpose and a testament to our lives. Today, live with intention to rejoice, to declare His goodness, and to embrace the nourishment God provides to carry you forward.
