Who can stand before his indignation?

and who can abide in the fierceness of his anger?

his fury is poured out like fire,

and the rocks are thrown down by him.

The LORD is good, a strong hold in the day of trouble;

and he knoweth them that trust in him.

But with an overrunning flood he will make an utter end of the place thereof,

and darkness shall pursue his enemies.

What do ye imagine against the LORD?

he will make an utter end:

affliction shall not rise up the second time.

Nahum 1:6-9

In your assignment, you may encounter opposition or forces that seem overwhelming, but Nahum reminds us of the unshakable power and justice of God. No enemy, no obstacle, no scheme can stand against His purpose. The Hidden Manna in this passage is the assurance that the Lord is both your refuge and your defender, supplying peace and courage when the pressure is high. He knows those who trust Him and preserves them even in the fiercest storms. Affliction will not have the last word, for God Himself makes an end of what seeks to hinder you. Your role is to remain steadfast, rooted in trust, while He fights on your behalf For Your Assignment. Today, take strength in knowing that the same God who called you will also protect, provide, and secure victory in your assignment.
