By faith Abraham, when he was called to go out into a place which he should after receive for an inheritance, obeyed; and he went out, not knowing whither he went. By faith he sojourned in the land of promise, as in a strange country, dwelling in tabernacles with Isaac and Jacob, the heirs with him of the same promise: For he looked for a city which hath foundations, whose builder and maker is God.

Hebrews 11:8-10

By faith, Abraham obeyed God’s call to leave the familiar and journey to a place he did not yet see, trusting the One who promised. Your assignment often requires stepping into unknown territory, guided only by the assurance of God’s Word. Like Abraham, For Your Assignment, you may not have all the details, but obedience positions you to receive the Hidden Manna—God’s supernatural provision and direction—in every season. The journey will not always be comfortable, but the eternal vision of what God is building through you sustains your steps. This passage teaches us that our true destination is not just a physical place but the fulfillment of God’s promises in and through our lives. As you walk in faith today, remember that the God who calls you will also keep you, nourish you, and lead you For Your Assignment. Trust Him with every step, knowing that your obedience is shaping a legacy that will outlive you.
