My purpose in writing is simply this: that you who believe in God’s Son will know beyond the shadow of a doubt that you have eternal life, the reality and not the illusion. And how bold and free we then become in his presence, freely asking according to his will, sure that he’s listening. And if we’re confident that he’s listening, we know that what we’ve asked for is as good as ours.
I John 5:13-15 (MSG)
When we are Seeking, Knocking, and Asking, we do so not with uncertainty, but with bold confidence rooted in our relationship with Christ. John assures us that faith in Jesus opens the door to assurance—not just of eternal life, but of God’s active listening in our daily lives. That assurance becomes Hidden Manna—a quiet, sustaining peace that reminds us our prayers are not empty words, but conversations with a faithful Father. The more we align our Asking with His will, the more we recognize His answers—sometimes immediate, sometimes slow, but always intentional. In the stillness between our Asking and His response, God nourishes our hearts with trust. Today, ask freely, knowing that the One who saved you also hears you. What you’ve asked in faith is already in motion, already covered by grace.
Come this far by faith leaning on the Lord trusting in his words. He is listening as long as he gets the Glory
