Instead, be glad that you are in the very thick of what Christ experienced. This is a spiritual refining process, with glory just around the corner. If you’re abused because of Christ, count yourself fortunate. It’s the Spirit of God and his glory in you that brought you to the notice of others.
I Peter 4:13-14 (MSG)
When we are Seeking, Knocking, and Asking in the midst of suffering, it’s easy to wonder if God is listening—but Peter encourages us to see trials through a higher lens. Our struggles aren’t signs of abandonment; they’re part of a refining process that draws us deeper into Christ’s likeness. In those hard places, God gives us Hidden Manna—a sustaining grace that the world can’t see but the soul knows well. The very pain that threatens to break us can become the doorway to glory, if we remain open to God’s presence in it. As we continue Seeking His will, Knocking for understanding, and Asking for strength, we can trust that the Spirit of God rests upon us. Today, be encouraged: the weight you carry may be heavy, but so is the glory being formed within you. Keep walking—God is feeding you in ways only the faithful find.
