Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death,
I will fear no evil: for thou art with me;
thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.
Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies:
thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.
Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life:
and I will dwell in the house of the LORD for ever.
Psalm 23:4-6
Even in life’s darkest valleys, when fear tries to rise and clarity seems far, Seeking, Knocking, and Asking become our lifeline to the Shepherd who never leaves us. David’s confidence wasn’t in his ability to avoid trouble, but in God’s faithful presence right in the midst of it. As we draw near to God with honest prayers and persistent trust, He responds with Hidden Manna—comfort, direction, and unexpected provision that nourishes our soul in silence and shadow. God doesn’t remove every enemy, but He sets a table of peace and abundance even in their presence. Our cup overflows not because the road is easy, but because He walks it with us. Today, let your Seeking be bold and your Asking sincere, trusting that God’s mercy is not only behind you—it’s beside you, guiding you into rest and restoration.
