Do you see what this means—all these pioneers who blazed the way, all these veterans cheering us on? It means we’d better get on with it. Strip down, start running—and never quit! No extra spiritual fat, no parasitic sins. Keep your eyes on Jesus, who both began and finished this race we’re in. Study how he did it. Because he never lost sight of where he was headed—that exhilarating finish in and with God—he could put up with anything along the way: Cross, shame, whatever. And now he’s there, in the place of honor, right alongside God. When you find yourselves flagging in your faith, go over that story again, item by item, that long litany of hostility he plowed through. That will shoot adrenaline into your souls!
Hebrews 12:1-3 (MSG)
Seeking, Knocking, and Asking are not one-time acts but a steady rhythm for those running the race of faith. Hebrews encourages us to keep our eyes on Jesus—the One who not only started our journey but is faithful to carry us through. When we feel tired or uncertain, there is Hidden Manna—spiritual nourishment—in remembering His endurance, His love, and His victory. The path is not always smooth, but we are not alone; a great cloud of witnesses surrounds us, and Christ Himself walks beside us. Each time we ask for strength, knock on heaven’s door for clarity, or seek His presence in our struggles, God meets us with grace. Today, shake off what slows you down, lean into Jesus, and trust that He is feeding your spirit with unseen strength all along the way. Keep going—your faith still has fuel.
