And it came to pass, when Jesus had made an end of commanding his twelve disciples, he departed thence to teach and to preach in their cities. Now when John had heard in the prison the works of Christ, he sent two of his disciples, And said unto him, Art thou he that should come, or do we look for another? Jesus answered and said unto them, Go and shew John again those things which ye do hear and see: The blind receive their sight, and the lame walk, the lepers are cleansed, and the deaf hear, the dead are raised up, and the poor have the gospel preached to them. And blessed is he, whosoever shall not be offended in me.
Matthew 11:1-6
All Along The Way, even the faithful—like John—can wrestle with doubt, disappointment, and the silence of unanswered questions. Yet Jesus doesn’t rebuke John; instead, He sends evidence of grace—a report of miracles, restoration, and hope flowing through His ministry. This is Hidden Manna for the soul: not always a direct answer, but a reminder that God's work is unfolding even when we can’t see it clearly. Our wilderness moments are not wasted—they are spaces where God's presence proves deeper than our pain. Sometimes we need to be reminded of what God is doing around us to regain strength for what He’s doing within us. As we journey, let us hold fast to what we hear and see of God’s goodness, even when life doesn’t look like what we expected. Trust that He is still moving, still mending, still ministering—All Along The Way.
