And keep the charge of the LORD thy God, to walk in his ways, to keep his statutes, and his commandments, and his judgments, and his testimonies, as it is written in the law of Moses, that thou mayest prosper in all that thou doest, and whithersoever thou turnest thyself:
I Kings 2:3
In a world obsessed with chasing success, fulfillment, and identity, Looking In All The Wrong Places, this verse reminds us that the true path to prosperity begins not in outward ambition, but in inward obedience. David’s charge to Solomon wasn’t about strategy, riches, or influence—it was about surrender to God's way. We often look for clarity in trends, advice columns, or comparison, but the Hidden Manna—the sustaining, secret wisdom of God—is found in faithfully walking with Him. Prosperity, as God defines it, flows from alignment with His Word, not from the applause of men or the accumulation of things. When we return to the ancient paths of His statutes and testimonies, we uncover treasures the world can’t see: peace, purpose, and a sure direction. May today be a call to stop searching outwardly and start seeking earnestly the Hidden Manna in God's commands.
