The earth is the LORD's, and the fulness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein.

For he hath founded it upon the seas, and established it upon the floods.

Who shall ascend into the hill of the LORD?  or who shall stand in his holy place?

He that hath clean hands, and a pure heart; who hath not lifted up his soul unto vanity,

nor sworn deceitfully.  He shall receive the blessing from the LORD,

and righteousness from the God of his salvation.  This is the generation of them that seek him, that seek thy face, O Jacob. Selah.  Lift up your heads, O ye gates;

and be ye lift up, ye everlasting doors; and the King of glory shall come in.

Who is this King of glory?  The LORD strong and mighty,

the LORD mighty in battle. Lift up your heads, O ye gates;

even lift them up, ye everlasting doors; and the King of glory shall come in.

Who is this King of glory?  The LORD of hosts, he is the King of glory. Selah.

Psalm 24

When we look around our lives and see what is before us, it may not always look good or promising, but instead of hanging our heads and/or accepting things the way they are, Lift Up Your Head and see the opportunities and possibilities before you!  Nothing about life is supposed to accommodate you; you and I have been given authority over life, and it is up to us to drive life into what God has promised: life and life more abundantly.  Stop expecting people, places, and things to bring you joy; your joy is dependent upon your will and willingness to seek after it.   When life deals you blow as it surely will, turn up the heat, the volume, Selah, and Lift Up Your Head so you may Open Up The Way to opportunities and possibilities awaiting you.  Remember, God is already there where you desire to be and is with you to assist you in getting there, Lift Up Your Head and see the way!
