But when the fulness of the time was come, God sent forth his Son, made of a woman, made under the law, To redeem them that were under the law, that we might receive the adoption of sons.

And because ye are sons, God hath sent forth the Spirit of his Son into your hearts, crying, Abba, Father.

Galatians 4:4-6

By God’s Spirit, we are the children of God.  It is not because we are perfect or get it right or even do the right thing or think the right way; it is simply By God’s Spirit we are adopted unto God and thus have the privilege and access to His presence, power, and promises fully operating in our lives.  Stop trying to box God and yourself in based on an act or experience; God operates above acts and experiences, above time, with the specific intent to bring you unto Himself as His child.  Open Up The Way by accessing God’s Spirit to lead and guide you even when you believe your acts or present experience disqualify you, God is above your acts and experiences, above time, and will yet own you as His child, providing, protecting, and pouring into you for your life and life more abundantly.
