SPRING FORTH NOW 2023

For I am the LORD your God: ye shall therefore sanctify yourselves, and ye shall be holy; for I am holy: neither shall ye defile yourselves with any manner of creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth. For I am the LORD that bringeth you up out of the land of Egypt, to be your God: ye shall therefore be holy, for I am holy. This is the law of the beasts, and of the fowl, and of every living creature that moveth in the waters, and of every creature that creepeth upon the earth: To make a difference between the unclean and the clean, and between the beast that may be eaten and the beast that may not be eaten.

Leviticus 11:44-47

Because we have been Set Apart, sanctified, by God for His purpose and plan does not mean that we have no responsibility for our own sanctification. God has and is inviting us, in each and every one of our experiences, into a co-creator relationship with Him, thus, we are invited to take on some responsibility. Our responsibility is to also make choices, as best as we can to ensure that we Set Apart our lives for the unique and peculiar calling God has for us. We must strive, press, toward the mark of our higher calling; walking worthy of the vocation for which we are called, focused and determined to respond appropriately to our experiences as God would have us. We need not worry or fret that our press, response to God’s call will somehow be perfect, it will not, God has already made room for us; we have a Most Favored Status. Our Most Favored Status does not disconnect us from the responsibility to respond and act according to God’s purpose and plan instead provides and opens up a way to get past our imperfections and obstacles to overcome and win!
