SPRING FORTH NOW 2023

You’ve all been to the stadium and seen the athletes race. Everyone runs; one wins. Run to win. All good athletes train hard. They do it for a gold medal that tarnishes and fades. You’re after one that’s gold eternally. I don’t know about you, but I’m running hard for the finish line. I’m giving it everything I’ve got. No lazy living for me! I’m staying alert and in top condition. I’m not going to get caught napping, telling everyone else all about it and then missing out myself.

I Corinthians 9:25-27 (MSG)

Although by God we have been established, having a Most Favored Status, however, the life and life more abundantly that is ours does not just happen, we just do not win for just showing up, instead God invites us into a co-creator relationship with Him to fulfill His intent for our life. Therefore, our abundance requires our preparation, training, so as to engage in life as co-creator with God in order to run our race, doing our part to win. Anyone can get in a race and/or run but the question is how one runs and whether one can endure until the end and the answer to both of these questions lies in one's preparation. Thus, each and every one of our experiences is a training ground, preparation, for us to press our way through life and its challenges to win the prize, and receive the reward, of God’s promises fulfilled in our lives. Our ability to see each and every life experience as training, preparation, is the very thing that will Set Apart our lives for the purpose and plan of God. Remember, nothing happens by happenstance or accident it is all Divinely ordered, therefore, in all things see and seize the opportunity to develop, prepare to win, and receive your reward.
