SPRING FORTH NOW 2023

And the angel of the LORD appeared unto him, and said unto him, The LORD is with thee, thou mighty man of valour. And Gideon said unto him, Oh my Lord, if the LORD be with us, why then is all this befallen us? and where be all his miracles which our fathers told us of, saying, Did not the LORD bring us up from Egypt? but now the LORD hath forsaken us, and delivered us into the hands of the Midianites. And the LORD looked upon him, and said, Go in this thy might, and thou shalt save Israel from the hand of the Midianites: have not I sent thee? And he said unto him, Oh my Lord, wherewith shall I save Israel? behold, my family is poor in Manasseh, and I am the least in my father's house. And the LORD said unto him, Surely I will be with thee, and thou shalt smite the Midianites as one man.

Judges 6:12-16

I seem to always default to the position in my life when things are unmanageable or complete chaos that somehow God has abandoned me, He has not.  If you are like me, the chaos and challenges of life appear to be giants and you and I are grasshoppers in comparison, however, what you and I fail to adequately account for is that you and I are not alone, God Is With You and me.  God's always abiding presence in our lives makes up the inadequacies of what we bring to the chaos and challenges of our lives, for with God we have the fullness of strength and power that is God’s alone.  It is God who has sent and anointed us for our life, thus everything that comes to it, He has equipped us, and therefore we are well able to engage and handle whatever exists, we have a Most Favored Status that gives us access to the fullness of God’s presence, power and promises.
