For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us. For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God.

Romans 8:18-19

Because God is our Father and He belongs to us and we to Him, God becomes the source of our hope, expectations fulfillment of His promises for our lives. The more we seek to be in an intimate relationship with God as Father, our belonging, we feel supported as well as comfortable with striving to become everything we have been created to be. The comfortability that comes with our belonging is an impetus for us to become and be what God has declared for our lives. God’s role as our Father permeates our will to face the adversaries of life, the suffering of our present time, with a sense that we engage them with the support from our Father in the fullness of who He is as God; the fullness of His presence, power, and promises fulfilled in our lives. As the children of God the Creator, Redeemer, and Sustainer of life give us rights and privileges that feed our hope, expectation to overcome whatever is before us and gain our inheritance of life and life more abundantly, a Most Favored Status.
