DAILY MEDITATION

Don’t fool yourself into thinking that you are a listener when you are anything but, letting the Word go in one ear and out the other. Act on what you hear! Those who hear and don’t act are like those who glance in the mirror, walk away, and two minutes later have no idea who they are, what they look like. But whoever catches a glimpse of the revealed counsel of God—the free life!—even out of the corner of his eye, and sticks with it, is no distracted scatterbrain but a man or woman of action. That person will find delight and affirmation in the action. Anyone who sets himself up as “religious” by talking a good game is self-deceived. This kind of religion is hot air and only hot air. Real religion, the kind that passes muster before God the Father, is this: Reach out to the homeless and loveless in their plight, and guard against corruption from the godless world.

James 1:22-27

The Power Of Self-Determination requires us to be doers, to act and to do so with a confidence that what you do reflects not only who you are but what it is your life means flowing from God, our Creator. God has chosen you, regardless of your faults and challenges to live and to do so reflecting God’s love and power, glorifying Him. It is very difficult to act if you are not assured about who you are or what is your God ordained purpose and plan, His Word for you life coming flesh, real. God requires us to be doers of His Word, His purpose and plan for your life, and thus your awareness, knowing thyself is a critical competent for living life fully. In knowing and owning who you are, you are better equipped to address your faults as well as the challenges of your life and with God’s power overcoming and inheriting all things. Self-Reflection, seeing oneself in the mirror of life as purposed and planned by God, His Word, positions you to be true to you in order to own who you are and tackle what is necessary to overcome, operate in what God has planned and purposed for your life, exercising your Power Of Self-Determination. It is your sense of confidence of owning and operating who you are that allows the authentic, God-created person you are to live in your propose and plan, flowing out of you from the source of life. Catch The Wind and live, addressing your faults and challenges in order to be who God created you to be and thus, influence, impact, witness God’s power and love to you and the world. Remember you have been chosen, you have a purpose and plan, be you and the best you, you can be, Catch The Wind and in so doing represent God and transform His world to that which He intends, His purpose and plan and with it your life and life more abundantly!
