DAILY MEDITATION
And he said, Hearken ye, all Judah, and ye inhabitants of Jerusalem, and thou king Jehoshaphat, Thus saith the Lord unto you, Be not afraid nor dismayed by reason of this great multitude; for the battle is not yours, but God's. To morrow go ye down against them: behold, they come up by the cliff of Ziz; and ye shall find them at the end of the brook, before the wilderness of Jeruel. Ye shall not need to fight in this battle: set yourselves, stand ye still, and see the salvation of the Lord with you, O Judah and Jerusalem: fear not, nor be dismayed; to morrow go out against them: for the Lord will be with you. And Jehoshaphat bowed his head with his face to the ground: and all Judah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem fell before the Lord, worshipping the Lord. And the Levites, of the children of the Kohathites, and of the children of the Korhites, stood up to praise the Lord God of Israel with a loud voice on high.
And they rose early in the morning, and went forth into the wilderness of Tekoa: and as they went forth, Jehoshaphat stood and said, Hear me, O Judah, and ye inhabitants of Jerusalem; Believe in the Lord your God, so shall ye be established; believe his prophets, so shall ye prosper. And when he had consulted with the people, he appointed singers unto the Lord, and that should praise the beauty of holiness, as they went out before the army, and to say, Praise the Lord; for his mercy endureth for ever. And when they began to sing and to praise, the Lord set ambushments against the children of Ammon, Moab, and mount Seir, which were come against Judah; and they were smitten.
II Chronicles 20:15-22
The challenges of life places us often in positions where we are faced with the impossible to engage and overcome just remember the battle is not yours, it is the Lord. The element of fear in the challenges of life comes from that which weeks to separate us from God and His promise of abundantly living and it is great and appears insurmountable when we view the circumstances through our own abilities and not in connection with the power of God. Resist fear of the impossibility and embrace the power of God that empowers you to Living Victoriously in and through all things, revealing God as well as you and His Word for your life. To LIVE we must be willing, in the midst of our circumstances, to show up in those circumstances; exercising our faith that whatever stands in our way is both God’s opportunity and our possibility of growing in God and discovering who God is and who we are in God. It is not enough for us to claim the power of God but we must also engage our circumstances to uncover God in our life and the only way to do so is to show up for the game, the circumstances, despite and in spite of the impossibilities. Our faith is built as a result of our showing up in our tribulations that worketh patience and patience experience and experience hope, the expectation that God and His power will be revealed in and through us. Be not afraid of the tribulations, the “it” of our lives, “it” has been taken care of, Jesus at Calvary said that “it” is finished. Your “it” is whatever stands in the way of you being one with God, His Word, His purpose and plan for your life that yields your life and life more abundantly. Your abundant life has been sealed, atoned, reconciled and awaits your embrace. No matter what appears impossible stand on God’s Word which will never fail for His Word will uncover, reveal, in your midst His faithfulness and power. LIVE as a shout unto God, of His Lordship and power over life and everything in it. Go on Living Victoriously because it is not about you but instead about God and who He is and who you are as declared, ordained, and assured and God will show up, He is lying in wait to reveal Himself and you as His workmanship, the crown of His glory!
