But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light: Which in time past were not a people, but are now the people of God: which had not obtained mercy, but now have obtained mercy.

I Peter 2:9-10

The mercy of God is our refuge in the time of trouble. It is God’s mercy that pursues us, despite and in spite of us, making available by God to us to not just survive our experiences but to also thrive and overcome. We are no longer just flesh and blood but over-imposed in our lives is The Spirit of God, His very presence with, before, and behind us empowering us for Living Victoriously. We are chosen of God to be His priests, representatives, set apart for His purpose and plan making us a peculiar people engaging, encountering, and being empowered through our experiences that makes us greater, better, and more of what God intended for our lives. We can LIVE because of God and His mercy that moves us from darkness to light in and through each and every experience, maturing us to the full stature of Christ, the call and crated being God has ordained us to be.
