DAILY MEDITATION

I thank God, whom I serve from my forefathers with pure conscience, that without ceasing I have remembrance of thee in my prayers night and day; Greatly desiring to see thee, being mindful of thy tears, that I may be filled with joy; When I call to remembrance the unfeigned faith that is in thee, which dwelt first in thy grandmother Lois, and thy mother Eunice; and I am persuaded that in thee also. Wherefore I put thee in remembrance that thou stir up the gift of God, which is in thee by the putting on of my hands. For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.

Be not thou therefore ashamed of the testimony of our Lord, nor of me his prisoner: but be thou partaker of the afflictions of the gospel according to the power of God;

II Timothy 1:3-8

Driving Your Narrative is the legacy that builds out your well-lived and joy filled life, that which is eternal life to and for you. Eternal Life is the promise form God that we would live forever. Living forever is not defined by the physical eternal life of our shell, the clay jar in which we live but the spirit of our being that transcends the clay jar and the circumstances of our lives. Do not allow the circumstances of your life to dictate but instead overcome them through the gift and promise of God to LIVE. We must be constantly watchful that the circumstances of our life do not Drive Our Narrative but instead use the circumstances to establish and carry our eternal life, the legacy of who we are, our spirit. Paul shares with Timothy that the hardships he is enduring and Paul himself are building blocks for our life and life more abundantly they are not the determiners but the tools to manifest who we are that is eternal. We must use the circumstances to bring out the best in us, the gifts God has deposited and ordained for our life. Bring out your best glorifies God and establishes His Lordship over life and your life so that you can LIVE despite and in spite of your circumstances. You and I have been given power, love and a sound mind that no matter our circumstances we will not fear but LIVE, establish a legacy, a record, a testimony, a witness that God is God and we are the sheep of His pasture, the ambassadors of Him and recipients of His power and love to LIVE as He has promised.
