Likewise, ye younger, submit yourselves unto the elder. Yea, all of you be subject one to another, and be clothed with humility: for God resisteth the proud, and giveth grace to the humble.

I Peter 5:5

The power of our Elevation releases us from the pressures of competing in order to win, offering us a perspective in which we are all connected, all of creation to God’s promises of flourishing in life and life more abundantly. When we are Elevated in the Spirit we receive a perspective beyond the surface of our challenges, realizing that our struggle is not with flesh and blood but with evil, spiritual wickedness in high places seeking to separate us from God’s promises; the battle is not ours, it’s the Lord. In the Spirit we are better enabled to see, have a better perspective within life’s challenges to see and seize the opportunities that exist within the challenges in order to leverage, connect and work all things for the good. We are handicapped by struggling on the surface of life’s challenges from being able to see opportunities and/or alternatives in seizing the pathway of victory that is ours for flourishing in our life and life more abundantly. We can only see and seize opportunities as we Catch The Wind of God’s Spirit and as we are Elevated we view not just the surface of our challenges but also everything around them, having a full picture to envision our pathway forward in God’s promises for our lives. When we are able to get beyond, even generational differences, we realize the differences are out to separate us; younger from older, however, with an Elevated perspective we see not difference but building blocks for flourishing even the more in our life and life more abundantly.
