SPRING FORTH NOW
This is the kind of life you’ve been invited into, the kind of life Christ lived. He suffered everything that came his way so you would know that it could be done, and also know how to do it, step-by-step. He never did one thing wrong, Not once said anything amiss. They called him every name in the book and he said nothing back. He suffered in silence, content to let God set things right. He used his servant body to carry our sins to the Cross so we could be rid of sin, free to live the right way. His wounds became your healing. You were lost sheep with no idea who you were or where you were going. Now you’re named and kept for good by the Shepherd of your souls.
I Peter 2:21-25 (MSG)
The life of Christ serves as a reminder that you and I possess the power to overcome any and all things and as an example shows us how it can be done. We often do not consider the fact that Christ himself was human, flesh and blood, although He was Divine. Therefore, Christ chose God’s assignment, He chose to Readjust to God’s intent for His life to become flesh in order to show and bring to our lives deliverance in any and all things. Remember, Christ had already been slain before the world was ever laid because God knew and knows the plans that He has for us and they are not to hurt or harm us but get us to our expected end, His will for our lives. Christ’s humanity and His willingness to endure in the flesh, to endure His experiences prove that with God and according to His Purpose and plan for our lives, we can overcome and inherit all things. Breathe: New Life by overcoming, producing power by your ability to endure life’s sufferings with a determination to get to your expected end, the promises of God for your life with an assurance that the Shepherd of your soul has gone and knows the way.
