SPRING FORTH NOW

The sons of Joseph spoke to Joshua, saying, “Why have you given us only one lot and one portion as an inheritance, when we are a numerous people whom the Lord has so far blessed?” Then Joshua replied, “If you are a numerous people, go up to the forest and clear ground for yourselves there in the land of the Perizzites and the Rephaim, since the hill country of Ephraim is too narrow for you.” The sons of Joseph said, “The hill country is not enough for us, and all the Canaanites who live in the valley have iron chariots, both those who are in Beth-shean and its towns and those in the Valley of Jezreel.” Joshua said to the house of Joseph, to Ephraim and to Manasseh, “You are a numerous people and have great power; you shall not have only one lot, but the hill country shall be yours. For though it is a forest, you shall clear it and possess it to its farthest borders; for you shall drive out the Canaanites, even though they have iron chariots and though they are strong.”

As we Breathe: New Life it is critical that the atmosphere, our space is conducive to building and developing confidence and courage to engage our circumstances, especially our fears. The power of fear over our lives and circumstances will often prevent us from even taking up the challenges that face us in order to move forward; we give up before we even try, therefore, we need to Inhale material that pushes and motivates us to resist the fear of the unknown. We will never be able to achieve the new from a position of comfort and convenience, new by definition is unknown and we must be willing to conqueror the fear of the unknown to seize the promises of what can and should be for our lives. Remember we are a great people, thus we have not been given the spirit of fear but of power, love, and a sound mind. Breathe: New Life and Inhale your spirit of power, confidence and courage to overcome what appears impossible, discovering options and/or strategies which allows you to leverage your strengths over weaknesses and opportunities over threats. Thus, we must be intentional about creating an atmosphere, space that builds and cultivates our power, confidence and courage, to overcome our fears, producing energy and strength to seize and possess our new life, the what can and should be!
