SPRING FORTH NOW

Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts:

and let him return unto the LORD, and he will have mercy upon him;

and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon. For my thoughts are not your thoughts,

neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD. For as the heavens are higher than the earth,

so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.

For as the rain cometh down, and the snow from heaven, and returneth not thither,

but watereth the earth, and maketh it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower, and bread to the eater:

Isaiah 55:7-10

On this Thanksgiving Day let this be a day in which we are not only grateful for what has been done but more so a day to give thanks for what will be done; the coming of the rain, the abundant source of life which is available and accessible to you and I. The power and abundance of our Harvest is connected to the rain; the replenishing of our spirit from the very source of life. No matter who you are or how well you are doing or not doing, we all need replenishing. Life itself drains us and every now and then we need a refilling in order to continue our advancement toward the promises of God for our lives. Seedtime and Harvest requires the flow of life, water that nurtures, develops, and causes seeds/vision and fertile ground/conditions and processes to thrive and flourish. We and life will throw punches that sometimes hit and/or consumes us, willingly and unwillingly, however, be assured that God has offered us continuously, no matter what, a way out in order that we would be reconciled, restored, returned to what is the original intent of God for our life and life more abundantly. Return to God, no matter what has caused you to fill drained and/or off course, God abundantly pardons as well as abundantly rewards. As you return, do not regret or allow guilt and shame to hinder you but instead, embrace the process, the game and work your Harvest hands, your promises, for in so doing you release the moisture of life into the air and the wind of God, His Spirt will cause droplets, rain to fall. On this Thanksgiving Day, in the midst of a pandemic, economic uncertainly, social unrest, unclear future, we need a return, reset of life to Catch The Wind of God’s Spirit, leading and guiding through the process of life in which droplets form into a heavy rain, yielding our abundant Harvest in and through all things!
