SPRING FORTH NOW 2023

Give ear to my words, O LORD,

consider my meditation.

Hearken unto the voice of my cry, my King, and my God:

for unto thee will I pray.

My voice shalt thou hear in the morning, O LORD;

in the morning will I direct my prayer unto thee, and will look up.

Psalm 5:1-3

In our Most Favored Status, we have the right to ask God anything and He will give it to us. Although we like to boast that God will give us the desires of our hearts, we neglect to indicate that we can only receive those things based on our relationship with God. Please note that God is not some vending machine, you put in what you believe is the required actions and pull the lever and God just gives us what we want, it is so much deeper than that. God invites us into a co-creator relationship with Him, we do not choose Him, He chooses us and calls us friends. God establishes the kind of relationship He wishes and it is up to us to engage Him in a mutual investment in which it is a two-way street. The more we are engaged with God, the more we believe God and we are transformed into His image, becoming more like Him so that our hearts and desires are His and visa versa. Remember, you are the Crown Of His Glory, God's revelation in and through you and there is nothing He will not withhold from you, His friend because of the mutual investment and partnership which yields His glorification. God does and will incline His ear; His presence, power, and promises toward you because of your relationship and reflection of Him in your everyday life, rewarding you for diligently seeking Him!
