But the LORD was with Joseph, and shewed him mercy, and gave him favour in the sight of the keeper of the prison. And the keeper of the prison committed to Joseph's hand all the prisoners that were in the prison; and whatsoever they did there, he was the doer of it. The keeper of the prison looked not to any thing that was under his hand; because the LORD was with him, and that which he did, the LORD made it to prosper.

Genesis 39:21-23

The importance of seeking God as we navigate life, including its challenges, provides the necessary fuel for us to Lead from our space; letting the light of God’s presence, power, and promises in our life shine. Seeking God indicates that we have the desire to be with Him and He with us. God is omnipresent and has promised to never leave us or forsake us and He holds true to His Word, however, our light shines because we too desire to be with Him. Although life and its challenges may very well feel overwhelming and you feel all alone, God is with you and you have to decide to be with Him and in so doing even prison experiences have no power to bind you. You have a Most Favored Status not just because God is with you but because you have chosen to be with God and no prison, degradation, lie, or impossibility can keep you from rising and doing so with all power; overcoming and inheriting all things!
