SPRING FORTH NOW 2023

“Never! Can a mother forget her nursing child? Can she feel no love for the child she has borne? But even if that were possible, I would not forget you!

See, I have written your name on the palms of my hands. Always in my mind is a picture of Jerusalem’s walls in ruins.

Isaiah 49:15-18 (NLT)

The power of us being Mothered by God is that we can be assured that we will never be forgotten. Mothers are generally inextricably tied to their children for life, good or bad, and as a result, develop a bond that is not easily broken. Such a connection, an inextricable bond, between mother and child is a direct reflection of the nature and character of God with His children, humankind. It is evident in the narrative for the creation of humankind that when we chose to defy God’s Word to us, hiding and eventually confessing, God never left us and did whatever was necessary to reconcile us, reconnect us to Himself. The act of reconciliation, making us one with God was so important to Him that He gave His only begotten Son as a sacrifice so that we could inextricably be connected to Him and thus His will; purpose, and plan for our lives to experience the fullness of joy. God, like mothers, has an inextricable connection to us, our destiny, and our joy, therefore, walk worthy of that which God has called you; live, move, and have your being in a Most Favored Status for we are inextricably bound!
