Now there stood by the cross of Jesus his mother, and his mother's sister, Mary the wife of Cleophas, and Mary Magdalene. When Jesus therefore saw his mother, and the disciple standing by, whom he loved, he saith unto his mother, Woman, behold thy son! Then saith he to the disciple, Behold thy mother! And from that hour that disciple took her unto his own home.
John 19:25-27
At the cross, the major challenge of Jesus’s life, He intentionally sees to the welfare of His mother, who by the way has been with Him from the beginning, not just in person as His mother but also in faith, belief. The importance of one of Jesus’ final acts in the flesh goes to the heart of God and Himself. God is also our Mother, having Mothered us through life, shaping and molding us before we were formed in the womb, serving as a catalyst to advance, accelerated, and announce the new of our lives and what we will contribute to the world, all of which are attributes that showcase the mothering of God. Though we may feel afraid and/or bewildered about the how, just remember you have a mother in God who believes in you before you existed and even in your present reality, whether good or bad, unsure or afraid. It is God who Mothered and mothers you, by nature will motivate you to your maximum potential, even at your crosses so that you may live, move, and have your being in your Most Favored Status.
