And it came to pass, that, when Elisabeth heard the salutation of Mary, the babe leaped in her womb; and Elisabeth was filled with the Holy Ghost: And she spake out with a loud voice, and said, Blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb.

Luke 1:41-42

Evidence of the operation of the Spirt in the womb is found in the leaping of John the Baptist when Mary who is impregnated with Jesus meets John's mother Elizabeth. John the Baptist was the forerunner, the preparer for the coming of Jesus Christ, and thus before either was born, John was able to begin His purpose and plan. God chose to use mothers as carriers for His Word, His promise fulfilled. It is in this mothering in which God reveals part of His nature and continues to do so in many ways in which we see how He has Mothered us to the fulfillment of His purposes. Be not afraid of the call, the purpose and plan of God for your life, as difficult as it may seem and/or the impossibility of the “how,” God has spoken and in the womb of creation, your experiences, He prepares the way for you, affirming your Most Favored Status.
