SPRING FORTH NOW

This is what God said: “Before I shaped you in the womb,

I knew all about you. Before you saw the light of day,

I had holy plans for you: A prophet to the nations—

that’s what I had in mind for you.” But I said, “Hold it, Master God! Look at me.

I don’t know anything. I’m only a boy!” God told me, “Don’t say, ‘I’m only a boy.’

I’ll tell you where to go and you’ll go there. I’ll tell you what to say and you’ll say it.

Don’t be afraid of a soul. I’ll be right there, looking after you.”

God’s Decree. God reached out, touched my mouth, and said,

“Look! I’ve just put my words in your mouth—hand-delivered. See what I’ve done? I’ve given you a job to do among nations and governments—a red-letter day!

Your job is to pull up and tear down, take apart and demolish,

And then start over, building and planting.”

Jeremiah 1:4-10 MSG

The process to Accumulate more of God entails not only the gathering of lessons learned so that we have more revelation of God’s presence, power, and promises in our lives but also we are forced to struggle with the profound question of who are we. The Bible says that we see through a glass darkly, but then face to face: now I know in part, but then shall I know even as I also am known meaning that our experiences hold a mirror up to us challenging us to be seen, known as God sees and knows us. Thus, as we engage the experiences of our lives with God, the fragments from the experiences, little by little, brings us into focus, answering the question of who am I and who has God made, called me to be and in so doing we Soar in the fulfillment of God’s promises for our lives. God created us before we ever existed as a thought in His mind that translates over the journey of our lives into revelation; we become who God created us to be as we diligently pursue Him, leading and guiding us to His presence where there is fullness of joy and at His righthand pleasures forevermore designed specifically for who He created us to be. Before we were shaped and formed in our mother’s womb, God knew and called us and although life has its challenges, which have come to separate us from the real us, God uses those very challenges to reveal Himself and who He has created us to be. No matter what is going on in your life and what appears to separate you from God’s promises, God has intended that you Soar, be who He has created you to be. Accumulate the lessons learned in your experiences and discover you are who you were created to be and as a result because you are, you will become who God called you to be, God’s Word made flesh, real in your life!
