SPRING FORTH NOW

Meanwhile, the eleven disciples were on their way to Galilee, headed for the mountain Jesus had set for their reunion. The moment they saw him they worshiped him. Some, though, held back, not sure about worship, about risking themselves totally. Jesus, undeterred, went right ahead and gave his charge: “God authorized and commanded me to commission you: Go out and train everyone you meet, far and near, in this way of life, marking them by baptism in the threefold name: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Then instruct them in the practice of all I have commanded you. I’ll be with you as you do this, day after day after day, right up to the end of the age.”

We have been given power to act on behalf of God as His ambassadors, the living visible presence of Him in the world, and with such delegated authority, God has made available to us all of His creation in order to accomplish His plan as well as for us be fruitful and multiply. Therefore, the task before you is not only to activate your delegated authority, but also to Mobile Your Forces, that which God has made available unto you by causing them to work in synergy, community with one another, bringing about that which is the good, perfect, and acceptable will of God. Developing and nurturing community, significant to who God is and the crown of His creation — let “us” make. . ., is a critical competent to accomplishing God’s plan for your life. God has chosen you and I that we would be His co-creators as well as His witnesses and to do so requires a space in which people, places, and things are brought together to from a community and have front row seats to the revelation of God. Thus, as Jesus arose from the grave with all power, He appears to His disciples, calling them together as community and launching them forth to Soar, one with another, some believing and trusting, yet some doubting. Jesus mobilized all of His forces, those willing and available to Him as well as those who had potential, to not only see their potential but also motivate its realization as a community of believers, workers, and witnesses eventually giving birth to what we know now as the Church. Likewise, God is using and challenging you to assess the people, places, and things of your life to develop and stimulate community in which you Mobilize Your Forces to make God's Word flesh, real. In community, we create a cloud of witnesses, where all things work together for the good; on one accord, in which we believe in one another's potential, work to enhance one another's potential, and serve as a witness to one another's potential, resulting in our ability to Soar!
