SPRING FORTH NOW - DAILY MEDITATION

And here’s why: God gives out Wisdom free, is plainspoken in Knowledge and Understanding.

He’s a rich mine of Common Sense for those who live well, a personal bodyguard to the candid and sincere. He keeps his eye on all who live honestly, and pays special attention to his loyally committed ones. So now you can pick out what’s true and fair, find all the good trails! Lady Wisdom will be your close friend, and Brother Knowledge your pleasant companion. Good Sense will scout ahead for danger, Insight will keep an eye out for you. They’ll keep you from making wrong turns, or following the bad directions Of those who are lost themselves and can’t tell a trail from a tumbleweed,

These losers who make a game of evil and throw parties to celebrate perversity,

Traveling paths that go nowhere, wandering in a maze of detours and dead ends.

Proverbs 2:6-15 (MSG)

The purpose of God’s wisdom, insight is toward all good works. God is constantly available and ready to assist you and I to achieve that which He has promised even in the midst of our unknowns and uncertainties. Every experience of your life is an intentional building block challenging you toward the good, all is required is that you incline your ear to God. Even as we march in protest of racism to dismantle the structural and systematic racism which is fueled by societal and individual racism, our protest and protesters cry out for the good. Protest is an effective tool to test the truth of a message; test the proposition of what you declare is truth. If we, as a democracy purport to be a structure and system that promotes equality and justice for all; we hold these truths to be self-evident that all are created equal and are endowed with certain unalienable rights such as life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness, it can stand the light of protest. Protests challenges our structures and systems to the truth of their words, if not creed, of equality and justice as well as an agent of conscious-raising to ensure that justice rolls down as waters, and righteousness as a mighty stream. Protest is not void of conflict, its purpose is to confront and create conflict in order that we mature, to the fullness, of what is truth; justice and righteousness for and to all. God, who knew and knows, hears our cries and as a result releases His Spirit, wind so that we may flow and mature, producing good works. God makes plain the situations before us, turning the light on, so that the truth is revealed and challenges us to mature, giving insight, reflection and renewal, which is necessary to make real the truth in our everyday walking around life. And with our realization, confession of truth, God shows the way and challenges us to Receive and Catch The Wind of His Spirit to live in justice and righteousness as He has beforehand prepared for our now and eternity!
