DAILY MEDITATION

No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon. Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than meat, and the body than raiment? Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they? Which of you by taking thought can add one cubit unto his stature? And why take ye thought for raiment? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they toil not, neither do they spin: And yet I say unto you, That even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. Wherefore, if God so clothe the grass of the field, which to day is, and to morrow is cast into the oven, shall he not much more clothe you, O ye of little faith? Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed? (For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things. But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.

Matthew 6:24-34

Life and life more abundantly hinges on our ability to sift through life and its challenges to seek first the kingdom of God; to LIVE in God’s purpose and plan for our lives. The vicissitudes of life have come to distract and detour us from the path of life God has established for us to Live and Enjoy the fullness of His presence, power, and love in and through life and therefore, we must be intentional about seeking and pleasing God all along life’s journey to LIVE. God is Creator of all things and all things are subject to Him, the good and bad of life. God has promised, covenanted with you and I that if we are willing to believe and embrace His purpose and plan for our lives that we would overcome and inherit the life and life more abundantly promised. All of creation is God’s handiwork and He has promised to take care of it all as true life’s Systems Administrator. We can look around at nature and see the beauty and glory of God, His revelation and care for and sustaining power of all life, thus, we can trust that God will more so do for us, who are the crown of His glory, as we seek to be in His will; His purpose and plan for our lives. It is God’s responsibility to care for us and promote, sustain our way to what should be as declared by Him, fulfilling His glory in and through life. We have no power, even though it may appear, and neither does anything else that can compete or trump God’s power in and over life, let Him be God in and through you. Seek and please God and LIVE fully in His promise of life and life more abundantly, free from any and all things, so that you may Live and Enjoy. Life is yours as you choose to see everything as God-Initiated, God-Reality, and God-provisions and we need not worry or fret for today or tomorrow for in Him we have our being and the eternal bliss of presence, power, and love, now and forever, Live and Enjoy!
