DAILY MEDITATION

Now when they had passed through Amphipolis and Apollonia, they came to Thessalonica, where was a synagogue of the Jews: And Paul, as his manner was, went in unto them, and three sabbath days reasoned with them out of the scriptures, Opening and alleging, that Christ must needs have suffered, and risen again from the dead; and that this Jesus, whom I preach unto you, is Christ. Transformational Leaders must be prepared for resistance; the tension and actions of the status quo to any and everything in order to prevent change. Change is not easy for anyone and causes a reaction that can be both stubborn and resistant to any move. Knowing and understanding that resistance will happen demands that one take in account the tension transformation will create and thus plan accordingly in order to counteract. The ability to counteract has to be sensitive to the natural feelings of all to the idea and action related to change. Your message can be good and it can appear beneficial to those you lead but the idea that they would have to become uncomfortable in the transition is real and must be accounted for in the plan. What you build as a temporary vehicle or space to help people, places, and things transition is the quality and sensitivity of your infrastructure. The quality and sensitivity of your infrastructure must be designed to interplay with the ultimate goal while also helping people to adjust. If there is no interplay of actions with each other we provide room for the devil, darkness, the natural tension of change to destroy your efforts. Occupy Your Promise by building out a well-lived and joy filled life that accounts for the natural tensions of change and transformation, preparing and assisting for all things to work together for the good!
