And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it.

John 14:13-14

There is often this misunderstanding that whatever you want God will just do it. Our thinking that God is somehow a vending machine and we put in a little worship or praise and we get whatever we want is bad and incorrect theology. God’s will is for us to align with His purpose for our lives that reveals His glory not ours. In Identifying With God we are transformed into His likeness, thus, His purpose for our lives, which is connected to His overall will for life. The more we Identify With God and His will the more we access and walk in His promise of life and life more abundantly for our lives. We can ask whatever we will from the One who is Creator and Giver of life and everything about it because we are Identifying With His purpose. Do not be deceived that you and your desires are the center of the universe, it’s God’s universe. It is God who has made us and not we ourselves and we are the sheep of His pasture. Occupy Your Promise by aligning yourself with God’s purpose for your life and no matter what the journey brings you can access and flow in your life and life more abundantly, despite and in spite of you and the vicissitudes of life!
