DAILY MEDITATION

From that time forth began Jesus to shew unto his disciples, how that he must go unto Jerusalem, and suffer many things of the elders and chief priests and scribes, and be killed, and be raised again the third day. Then Peter took him, and began to rebuke him, saying, Be it far from thee, Lord: this shall not be unto thee. But he turned, and said unto Peter, Get thee behind me, Satan: thou art an offence unto me: for thou savourest not the things that be of God, but those that be of men.

Matthew 16:21-23

Engaging life as it is and with the intent purpose of building out a well-lived and joy filled life will not necessarily be easy. The things that have power over your life will not concede without a demand, Engagement. There are some things about your journey of life, the good and the bad, that are necessary for you to live in the life and life more abundantly. To deny and/or avoid the journey, even the difficulties of life, hinder your ability and possibilities for that which is promised. God is true to His Word, what He has declared will come to pass and the journey is the vehicle for the fulfillment of His promise. Do not allow religiosity or the chaos in life define the outcome but instead allow the journey to be a process and preparation to reign. As Christ was raised from the dead and received all power, we too must experience life and Engage it as it is so that we rise to the promise of life and life more abundantly. Go ahead an Occupy Your Promise, it may not be easy but it will definitely be rewarding toward what should be, the promise of God for your life, it is His Word and the manifestation of His power!
