But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle you.

I Peter 5:10

Today, I celebrate another birthday and I am mindful of God’s faithfulness. All my life God has been faithful, all my life God has been so, so good to me, and with every breath that I am able, I will sing of the goodness of God. God’s faithfulness is an outgrowth of His calling on your life, the fact that He has Chosen you, and though you are not perfect, He yet extends His grace, favor, to you simply because you diligently seek to pursue His calling on your life. Further, as you experience the difficulties and hardships of life’s challenges God is faithful and in those challenges He reveals Himself and His calling; the embodiment of the fullness of His presence, power, and promises fulfilled. All God requires of any of us is that we would walk humbly with Him; respond to His calling, His Word for our lives by executing His purpose and plan as His delegated authority in the world, revealing Him in all of who He is. By our walking with Him and in His Word for our lives, God is faithful to make us perfect, establish, strengthen, and settle us for we in Him have a Most Favored Status.
