SPRING FORTH NOW 2023

About that time Hezekiah became deathly ill, and the prophet Isaiah son of Amoz went to visit him. He gave the king this message: “This is what the Lord says: ‘Set your affairs in order, for you are going to die. You will not recover from this illness.’” When Hezekiah heard this, he turned his face to the wall and prayed to the Lord, “Remember, O Lord, how I have always been faithful to you and have served you single-mindedly, always doing what pleases you.” Then he broke down and wept bitterly. Then this message came to Isaiah from the Lord: “Go back to Hezekiah and tell him, ‘This is what the Lord, the God of your ancestor David, says: I have heard your prayer and seen your tears. I will add fifteen years to your life, and I will rescue you and this city from the king of Assyria. Yes, I will defend this city.

Isaiah 38:1-6 (NLT)

Because God loves us so much and it's His intent for us to be His chosen ones, to be the Crown Of His Glory, He inclines His power to us for our faithfulness. God does not lean toward hearing and extending His mercy because we deserve it but instead because of our expression to be faithful to Him, which pleases Him the most. Our faithfulness allows God to shine, be revealed in and through our lives, despite and in spite of our circumstances and abilities. God is pleased in our showing forth acts of faith, in which we come to Him and believe that He is and as a result, He rewards us for diligently seeking, pursuing His will for our lives in which He is revealed. We are the Crown of His Glory and as we please Him, God inclines His ear; His presence, power, and promises toward us because we choose to believe Him, showcase faith in Him, in His Word for our lives to live in our Most Favored Status!
