SPRING FORTH NOW 2023
Make this your common practice: Confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you can live together whole and healed. The prayer of a person living right with God is something powerful to be reckoned with. Elijah, for instance, human just like us, prayed hard that it wouldn’t rain, and it didn’t—not a drop for three and a half years. Then he prayed that it would rain, and it did. The showers came and everything started growing again.
James 5:16-18 (MSG)
The power of confession to God and to one another, releases, internally and externally, our bondage to guilt and shame. No one needs to tell us when we are wrong, it is and/or becomes obvious to us, the hard thing is to admit it and move on, and for that, we need the support of our loving God and people who love us in our space, despite and in spite of our failings. Admitting acknowledges that something should not have been or be and as a result, we wish to turn, repent, and that is okay and necessary to move out of and be free from whatever hinders our living in the fullness of our promises. Develop a strong relationship with God but also with a core of vision soldiers; those who willingly and unselfishly motivate and support you in living in the fullness of God’s promises for your life. It is your honesty with God and the vision soldiers of your life that you will receive the required fuel to turn from wrong directions and turn to the pathway for your life and life more abundantly. Remember, you are the Crown Of His Glory and although you are not perfect and will not be perfect, it is in your imperfections that God shines the brightest, His grace shining sufficiently in and through you, His Most Favored Status on your life.
