SPRING FORTH NOW - DAILY MEDITATION

There has never been the slightest doubt in my mind that the God who started this great work in you would keep at it and bring it to a flourishing finish on the very day Christ Jesus appears.

It’s not at all fanciful for me to think this way about you. My prayers and hopes have deep roots in reality. You have, after all, stuck with me all the way from the time I was thrown in jail, put on trial, and came out of it in one piece. All along you have experienced with me the most generous help from God. He knows how much I love and miss you these days. Sometimes I think I feel as strongly about you as Christ does! So this is my prayer: that your love will flourish and that you will not only love much but well. Learn to love appropriately. You need to use your head and test your feelings so that your love is sincere and intelligent, not sentimental gush. Live a lover’s life, circumspect and exemplary, a life Jesus will be proud of: bountiful in fruits from the soul, making Jesus Christ attractive to all, getting everyone involved in the glory and praise of God.

Philippians 1:6-11 (MSG)

Receiving and embracing the love of God for us is our greatest advantage in navigating and overcoming life’s challenges. The challenges in life we face, as we seek to soar to the promises of God for our life and life more abundantly, often seem insurmountable and strong in will to defeat us, causing both frustration and hopelessness that can only be matched by God’s unconditional love to and for us. God’s love is not dependent upon our abilities to be “perfect” but instead to “per-fect,” striving toward the righteousness of God which grows out of our love to and for God. Our choice to diligently pursue God out of our love for Him is the very thing that pleases God, manifesting our love to Him, resulting in Hm rewarding us to accomplish that which He intends. It is the same unconditional love of God to and for us that He compels us to manifest in our engagement with one another, to Fill Our House, being and space, and as a result everything in our house is filled with the presence, power, and promises of God. As we receive and embrace the love of God we cannot help ourselves but to pour out of the love which represents God, not a love which is blind but one that is open for the possibilities and opportunities of God available to all His creation to live in the abundance of His promises. The Spirit of God which flows in and through love becomes the wind beneath the wings, actions of our lives, causing us to soar into the exceeding abundantly more than we can ever ask or think. Today, Catch The Wind of God’s Spirit and position your house, being and space, to be full, filling everybody and everything in your being and space to the life and life more abundantly promised.
