SPRING FORTH NOW - DAILY MEDITATION

And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place. And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting. And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them. And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.

Acts 2:1-4

The intensity of the challenges of our lives, generally come without warning, causing us to be vulnerable to the challenge taking control over our lives and actions. The reactionary position we find ourselves in as a result of life’s challenges gives power to our fears that make it difficult to determine what to do in the face of the challenges in order to overcome them. Fear can become the driver of our narrative, if we let it and as a result clouds our ability to see and seize the opportunity before us to live and live abundantly. God has promised that we should have life and life more abundantly in all things and in order to achieve that we must maintain control over our lives to drive the appropriate narrative in order to arrive at the place of our fullness of joy. Arriving at our promise requires that we give no space to the devil, evil, darkness; we have no empty space, not lacking, complete and whole. Our wholeness makes us full so that we are positioned, no matter what comes, whether it is a surprise to us or not, so that we are the drivers of our circumstances. Our relationship with God and the continuous nurturing and development of that relationship makes us full, bidding God to Fill Our House, space and being. Our ancestors often indicated that they were laying up timber, preparing and setting aside for their eternal home, space of joy and peace that surpasses all understanding, that which the world cannot give and cannot take away. On the day of Pentecost, 120 disciples of Christ gathered as a result of His command, amid their grief of His death, they were taken aback because the Messiah, Savior was no longer physically present with them and had not, in their mind, restored them to their rightful position. They discovered that their rightful position, God’s promised had been restored they just have to see and seize it, believe and act not in the natural but through the Spirit. When they decided, took up the challenge within their challenges to drive their own narrative; to become full of the Spirit they were prepared and focused to receive God’s promise. Today, use the opportunity of your challenges as preparation to focus on your mission, assignment, be full of God’s promises for your life and life more abundantly, you Catch The Wind of God’s Spirit over your space and with it power to overcome and inherit all things.
