SPRING FORTH NOW - DAILY MEDITATION

Jesus answered and said unto them, Go and shew John again those things which ye do hear and see: The blind receive their sight, and the lame walk, the lepers are cleansed, and the deaf hear, the dead are raised up, and the poor have the gospel preached to them. And blessed is he, whosoever shall not be offended in me.

Matthew 11:4-6

A call is made to solicit a response. How you and I respond to the call, even the challenges of our lives, determines the outcome. A call, request being made, signifies that the one who calls or the circumstances that challenges, seeks to solicit an action that either informs, transforms, and/or maintains the status quo. Therefore, the respondent has the power to determine their response by their actions. Whatever the action of the response becomes evidence of the responders decision to accept and/or meet the call or to ignore it; maintaining the stars quo to prevail. In the midst of the George Floyd, et al., pandemic, there is a call for equality and justice, specifically to and for Black people, and the key to achieving that desired end is depends upon our ability to response, demand and take action which informs and transforms what is to what should be. John the Baptist sends His disciples to determine whether or not Jesus was the Messiah, the called one. As they arrived Jesus’ response was not to tell them He was the called one, but He simply pointed to His actions. As a result, Jesus instructs them that as responder to the call, my actions speak for themselves, the transformation of life as it was to what it should be, now go and tell him what you have seen. It is our actions in response to the call that defines who we are, it is the substance of things we hope for, the evidence of things not seen. Catch The Wind of God’s Spirit, it’s moving and flowing, and Receive your call to action, acting in respond to the Spirit that produces proof in the pudding, witness of what God, the caller, has intended for you.
