SPRING FORTH NOW - DAILY MEDITATION

My son, keep my words, and lay up my commandments with thee. Keep my commandments, and live; and my law as the apple of thine eye. Bind them upon thy fingers, write them upon the table of thine heart. Say unto wisdom, Thou art my sister; and call understanding thy kinswoman:

Proverbs 7:1-4

The danger of reacting to situations is if it does not meet the challenge for transformation now, it wanes as times goes by. As with anything, righteous indignation because of circumstances that causes situations to arise naturally creates a reaction that demands attention. Martin Luther King, Jr.’s the “fierce urgency of now” proclaims that tomorrow has become today and our circumstances demands our active and intentional focus now, otherwise we risk loosing the passionate spirit of transformation to short-term satisfaction or worse, apathy and complacency. Active and Intentional focus now suggest a proactive plan, strategy to achieve the transformation necessary so that the fierce urgency of now is met with vision and a plan for tomorrow which is today. Use your present circumstances as a challenge to think, reflect and Receive in-sight so that your now is transformed into what should be. One of the purposes of the Spirit of God is to lead and guide us into all truth of God’s promises of life and life more abundantly, use it now and Catch The Wind of God’s Spirit and flow into the pathway of flourishing in His promises. The wisdom of the book of Proverbs suggests as we keep the Word, the promise of what should be, before us we are equipped to meet the fierce urgency of now. Having before us the vision of what should be positions us to live, meeting the challenges of our today that transforms them into our tomorrows for the good. Position yourself in your now to Receive that which God will impress upon your mind, vision, and with a strong mind and ready hands fueled by the issues of your heart, your passion, release the Spirit of God, leading and guiding you into all truth, Catch The Wind!
